Overview

Capri is famous for being an island of romance, and the many couples sitting at cafes in the Piazzetta overlooking the aqua blue sea certainly support this theme. Capri is best enjoyed as a day trip from the nearby Amalfi Coast (unless you have a ton of cash to spend on a hotel). To enjoy views, stroll to the Arco Naturale and the Beledere di Tragara, and stop at the Giardini di Augusto gardens for further romantic vibes. Early and late summer are best times to visit to still enjoy seaside warmth while missing some of the July-August crowds.
